The carrier chassis is fabricated of 11 gauge stainless steel, 1 in. square, steel tubing, subassemblies are of welded construction.. The chassis is also available with a strong 12 gauge steel framework that is finished with a special high fired powder coating to provide outstanding resistance to scratching, chipping or staining. The subframe is shaped to fit into the hi-tech plastic operating platform to ensure a more secure fitting over previous designs. The subframe shape permits the simple lifting on or off of the operating platform . . . no mechanical fastening devices are required. A handle is provided and when lifted, tilts the platform and automatically engages the positive locking brake-leg mechanism. The unit is equipped with four 8 in. diameter swivel wheels . . . two wheels with a brake mechanism. The bottom framework accommodates one or two utility trays.
