The carrier chassis is fabricated of strong 12 gauge, 1 in. square, steel tubing, subassemblies are of welded construction. The steel framework is finished with a special high fired powder coating to provide outstanding resistance to scratching, chipping or staining. The chassis is also available in stainless steel. The subframe is shaped to fit into the hi-tech plastic operating platform to ensure a more secure fitting over previous designs. The subframe shape permits the simple lifting on or off of the operating platform...no mechanical fastening devices are required. A handle is provided and when lifted, tilts the platform and automatically engages the positive locking brake-leg mechanism. The unit is equipped with four 8 in. diameter swivel wheels...two wheels with brake mechanism. The bottom framework accommodates one or two utility trays. Shown with a Model # 1032-3 Plastic Top.
