The addition of a layer of paper (reinforced by a network of rayon threads) to a
disposable plastic apron offers two advantages.
First of all, in hot weather, the layer of paper is more comfortable to wear due to
its absorbency. Secondly, this extra layer actually increases somewhat the strength
of the apron.
